Stephanie Sue Hoston, 68, of Hopewell, Ohio, passed away at 9:09 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2025, at her residence. Stephanie was born October 22, 1956, in Circleville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Jack L. and Mildred S. (Henderson) Binkley. She was a 1974 graduate of Reynoldsburg High School, served as part of the Ohio State Highway Patrol for many years, was the owner/operator of Thurston Carry Out and Pizza for 10 years, and worked for 16 years at Diamond Power in Lancaster, Ohio. She loved her grand dogs and 24x7 coffee. She is survived by one daughter, Jodi L. (Michael) Popper of Heath; one son, Joseph “J.D.” (Sara) Burton, Jr., of Hopewell; one grandson, Noah Morgan; one brother, Jeff (Carrie) Binkley of Gahanna; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jamie Binkley; and one sister, Debbie Helpman. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset where services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 13, 2025, with Rev. Mike Queen officiating. Burial will follow at 12:00 noon in Green Summit Cemetery at Adelphi, Ohio.
