Sarah Elizabeth (King) Cooperrider, 95, of Glenford, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Genesis Hospital.
Elizabeth was born July 14, 1922 in Alabama to the late Charlie Sr. and Mattie Paul King.
Elizabeth taught school for 28 years in Northern Local School District where she taught math and Home Economics. In her retirement years, she was involved in Perry County Retired Teachers and at the state level for Farm Bureau. She was a member of Zanesville Church of Christ.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Carol Smith of Pickerington and Dennis Cooperrider of Glenford; two grandchildren, Darrel (Monica) Cooperrider and Carrie (Matt) Philip; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Hossman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don Kendall Cooperrider; a son, Dennis King Cooperrider; two brothers, Charlie King, Jr. and H.L. King.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home, 203 S. Columbus St.,
Somerset, Ohio where services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday with Lee Biles officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Glenford, Ohio.
