Rosemary Uffner, 71, of Thornville, Ohio, passed away Monday, January 6, 2025, at Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care in Zanesville, Ohio. Rose was born August 25, 1953, in Newark, Ohio, to Sewell Franklin Humphrey, Sr. and Tollie Dorothy (Pettiebone) Humphrey. Rose loved flea markets and antiques. She is survived by her husband, Donald Joe Uffner; brothers, Samual Humphrey and Larry Embrey; sisters, Carol Kieber and Kathi Brooks; and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Sewell Franklin Humphrey Jr., David Arthur Humphrey, Paul Michael Humphrey and Mark Anthony Humphrey; and her sisters, Vickie Ann Culver, Janet Lee Sargent and Mary Jane Maharg. No calling hours or service will be observed. Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset, Ohio is entrusted with the arrangements.
