Robert Eugene Taylor, 62, of Glenford, Ohio, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020. Bob, as everyone knew him, was born November 25, 1957 to the late George Russell “Russ” and Helen “Tottie” Bratton Taylor. He was a 1976 graduate of Sheridan High School where he was a drummer in the band for four years. He was an LPN and a truck driver. He served on the Glenford-Hopewell Twp. Fire Dept. for 25 years. Bob lived a life of giving to others, giving back to the community as much as possible. He loved playing his drums and flying his planes with his brothers. Bob was a member of Jackson Masonic Lodge #85 in Brownsville as well as Brownsville Chapter #486 Order of the Eastern Star. Bob’s biggest love was his family. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Renee “Toni” Taylor; son, Jason and Heidi Taylor; daughter, Christina and Andrew Kessler; five grandchildren, Skylar, Ethan, Alyson, Katie and Tanner; one great-grandson, Lance; two brothers, Rick Taylor and William “Bill” and Sherry Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John McCall. Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Mt. Perry Presbyterian Church, 13099 Church St., Mt. Perry, Ohio where Masonic Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. A graveside service will follow at 3:15 p.m. in Mt. Perry Cemetery with Pastor Mike Queen officiating.
