Randall Ray Miller, 63, of Rushville, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Country Lane Gardens of Oakthorpe, surrounded by his wife and mother-in-law. Randy was born October 24, 1960, in Columbus, Ohio, and settled down in Rushville in 2002 with his wife and two daughters. He was the son of the late Conrad “Connie” and Evelyn Faye (Reese) Miller. Randy worked a handful of different jobs throughout his life, his favorite was working on race and drag cars. He was also in management at Vick’s Pizza in Reynoldsburg for many years, as well as working for Executive Caterers in Reynoldsburg, where he met Kathy. Randy enjoyed listening to bluegrass music and classic rock in his free time. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy (Swackhammer) Miller; two daughters, Morgan (Matt) Allshouse and Harlei (Eric Allen) Miller; sister, Sheila Albin; brother, Heith (Susan) Miller; mother-in-law, Betty Swackhammer; brother-in-law, Kevin Swackhammer; niece, Jamie Albin-Rebert; nephews, Dylan, Devon, and Derek Miller and Bryan (Shauna) Swackhammer; great nieces, Lexie Kelley, Ashlynne Swackhammer; great nephews, Clayton Albin, Tobie Kelley, and Jackson Swackhammer; cousins, Edie and Gary Gillum and Brenda and Roger Neff. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Doyne Swackhammer; brother-in-law, Bruce Albin; and his good friend Rob Reincheld. A special thank you to the caregivers at Country Lane Gardens at Oakthorpe for the exceptional care they gave to Randy.
