Ramona E. Kennedy, 82, of Somerset, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 peacefully at home. Ramona was born December 12, 1937 in Mannington, West Virginia to the late Fredrick and Virginia Masters. She lived most of her life in Wooster, Ohio where she worked at the Wilbert Company and Nick Amsters’ Workshop for 15 years. She later worked at Riverside Hospital for over 5 years. An avid gardener and homemaker, she was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all who knew and loved her. She loved to watch Hummingbirds at her feeders. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Kennedy; sons, William “Billy” and Shawn “Grizz” Kennedy; and daughter, Mona D. Kennedy. Ramona is survived by her brothers, Ronald (Alice) Masters and Fredrick P. (Ann L.) Masters; son, Jeffrey D. (Teena L.) Kennedy and daughter Anita K. Kennedy; grandchildren, Shawn Kennedy, Braylon Freeman, Amanda (Amber) Kennedy, Breanna (Sean) Ward, Jessica (John) Arrington, Steven (Brandy) Johnson, Samantha Johnson, Travis Kennedy, Cortney (Waylon) Mitchell, Suzzanna Miller, Sarah Bardsley, David (Andrea) Bardsley, Jack (Emily) Bardsley; 23 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; special lifelong friends, Barb, Carolyn and Charlene.
