R. Renee (Kron) Rushing

R. Renee Rushing passed away at age 82, on July 14, 2025, at 3:40 a.m. at Country Lane Gardens in Thornville, Ohio. She was born in Pasco, WA on June 9, 1943, and was raised as a farm kid in Prosser, WA. She was a longtime resident of the Pacific Northwest and Tucson, AZ. She was a faithful member of Fountain of Life Lutheran Church, and after moving to Ohio in 2017, became a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Lancaster, Ohio. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Huston; sister, Judy Woemer; brother, Gary Kron and his wife Sandra; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin L. Rushing; her son, V. Glenn Brown; and parents, Ed and Irene Kron. She will be greatly missed by all, for her generosity and talkative nature. No calling hours or service will be observed at this time.
