Phyllis E. Dupler, 93, of Glenford, passed away at 4:20 a.m. Friday, January 8, 2021 at her daughter’s residence. Phyllis was born April 11, 1927 in Somerset, Ohio, the daughter of the late Russell W. and Mary Louise (Helser) Snider. She was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church and a former member and EMT of the Glenford-Hopewell Fire Dept. Phyllis was a self-employed beautician for 37 years, a former volunteer at Licking Memorial Hospital and a former employee of JC Penney in Heath, Ohio. She is survived by two daughters, Sandy (Mark) Cracco of South Bend, Indiana and Judith (Gary) Higgins of Flint Ridge; six grandchildren, Todd Mohler, Tracey Bienz, Tara Vance, Heidi Bragg, Hayley Higgins and Adam Higgins; ten great-grandchildren, Jennifer and Ashley Bienz, Christopher and BreAnna Mohler, Shyan and Kayla Vance, Logan and Gavin Bragg, Calleigh and Cadence Higgins; nine great-great grandchildren, Dylan, Lucas, Mason, Gavin, Jace, Micah, Kaya, Colby and Isaac; one brother, Dean (Kaye) Snider of Texas; two sisters, Doris (Bill) Marbaugh of Celina, Ohio and Joyce (John) Nichols of Arizona. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Howard “Bud” Dupler (Nov. 21, 2006); two brothers, Carl G. Snider and Russell Snider, Jr; and three sisters, Lois Carol, Annabelle Dowdy and Helen Fetters. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021 in Zion Ridge Cemetery, 8001 High Point Rd., Thornville, Ohio 43076 with Eric Riffle and John Rushmeyer officiating.
