Phyllis Nadine (Eyman) Brehm, 93, formerly of Bremen, went to her Heavenly reward on Sunday, November 14, 2021.
Phyllis was born June 24, 1928, to Elza and Carrie Fosnaugh Eyman. She was married to the love of her life, John C. Brehm, on June 1, 1947. She was a member of Mt. Zion United Brethren Church in Junction City for over 70 years where she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir and was church secretary. She retired as a bus driver and secretary for the Forest Rose School and Workshop in Lancaster.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years; son, Joseph; brother, Marvin Eyman, and sister, Lois Scholl.
She is survived by sons, David (Clarisa Samm) Brehm of New Lexington and John (Shelly) Brehm of Liberty Township, Ohio; granddaughters, Amy Brehm Bond of New Lexington and Nicole (Taylor) Decker of Columbus, Indiana; grandsons, Nick Brehm of Hamilton, Ohio and Guy Brehm of New Lexington; great-grandsons, Jordon (Marissia) Miller of Zanesville, Jamison and Nathan Bond of New Lexington; and two great-great-grandsons, Claude Johnson and Wyatt Miller; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2021, at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset and one hour prior to the service at the church. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 19, 2021, at Mt. Zion United Brethren Church in Junction City with Rev. Eric Self officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
