Perry Clement Randolph, Sr., 86, of Thornville, Ohio passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, October 9, 2021.
Perry was born October 13, 1934, in Junction City, Ohio, the son of the late Daisy (Curry) and Frank Griggs Randolph. He married his wife Lauretta (Hoover) on February 23, 1957. Perry and Lauretta raised their four children on a farm in Glenford. In 1997 Perry retired from Rockwell in Newark. He enjoyed bowling, basketball, playing cards, roller skating, and being around his grandchildren.
He is survived in life by his wife of 64 years, Lauretta (Hoover) Randolph; his four children, Launetta K. Norris of Zanesville, Perry C. Randolph, Jr. of Thornville, Larindia J. (Larry) Moore of Glenford, and Phillip E. (Rebecca) Randolph of Reynoldsburg; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his sister, Patty (Larry) Short; a sister-in-law, Kay Randolph; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ed (Peggy) Randolph and Jim Randolph; and two sisters, Sara (Paul) Arter and Arzella (John) Dickerson.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2021 in Community Gardens, 5080 State Route 13 N.E., New Lexington, Ohio with the Rev. Karen Walters officiating.
