Patricia Lou “Pat” Sigler, 81, of Somerset, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 15, 2023, at 2:59 p.m. Pat was a devoted wife of 57 years and a loving mother of four children, a grandmother of ten, with many great-grandchildren. She was born July 1, 1942, to the late Wayne Thomas Hedges and Genavive Atkinson in South Perry, Ohio. Pat’s life revolved around her family. Primarily a “stay at home mom,” Pat worked outside the home as a secretary at New Lexington High School and as a transporter for the House of New Hope with her husband Mick. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, crafts, country and gospel music. Pat spent many years managing and performing in their family band all over Ohio. She also loved country comedy and would make the audience laugh performing as a character she called…Sadie Ketchum. Pat is survived by her two sons, David (Becca) Sigler and Gary (Stephanie) Sigler, both of Rushville; her beloved daughter-in-law, Sally Sigler of Somerset; three sisters, Debbie Scott, Gwen Wilson and Carmen Climer; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mickey Sigler; son, Michael Sigler; daughter Lisa Aliff; grandson, Aaron Aliff; and two brothers, Ronnie and Roger Hedges. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at the New Lexington Christian Church, 5010 St. Rt. 13 NE, New Lexington, Ohio, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jim Baston officiating.
