Patricia Ann (Burrows) Owens

Patricia Ann Owens, 68, of Thurston, passed away at 2:18 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Licking Memorial Hospital. Pat was born August 26, 1952 in Lancaster, Ohio, the daughter of the late Elmer S. and Edna Persinger Burrows. She was a graduate of Sheridan High School and most recently attended The Bridge Church in Lancaster. She had taught Sunday School at the Lighthouse Church in Buckeye Lake. Pat was a Clerical Receptionist for over 30 years at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was an avid shopper, scrapbooker, and was active in the lives of her children and grandchildren. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Adam Busby and Carolyn Wallin of Chillicothe; one daughter, Kelly Zigan of Baltimore; three grandchildren, Cooper Wallin-Busby, Skyler Zigan and Riley Burrows; her husband, James Owens of Newark; and a sister, Virginia Crandell of Thornville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Delbert Burrows; and two sisters, Mary Neville and Ina “Sis” Perdue. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2021 in Zion Ridge Cemetery near Thornville with Pastor Scott Gibson officiating.
