Normajean V. Dupler, 80, of Rushville, Ohio, passed away at 5:35 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at her residence.
Normajean was born January 7, 1942, in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of the late Weldon B. and Myrtle Josephine (Lawhan) Thompson. She had been formerly employed at General Hose, Essex Wire, T.C. Market where she worked in the bakery, and was a dairy farmer. Normajean loved cooking, baking, talent and game shows, family, traveling (road trips), talking on the telephone, word find puzzles, and milking cows.
She is survived by her children, Brent Dupler of Rushville, Denise (Todd) McCoy of Rushville, and Shawn (Mary Denise Denney) Dupler of Somerset; daughter-in-law, Vickie Dupler of Baltimore; grandchildren, Josh (Amber Fromm) McCoy, Brandan Dupler, Brad Dupler, Brittany (Avery Queen), Jessica (Dylan King), Justin Dupler, and Wyatt Dupler; great-grandchildren, Westyn Dupler, Eastyn Dupler, and Jaxtyn McCoy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Rodney D. Dupler; a son, Robin Dupler; and two siblings, Terry Thompson and Shirley Gordon.
There will be a caring cremation at Normajean’s request. A private burial will be held in New Reading Cemetery at a later date.
