Nita B (Poling) Snider

Nita B. Snider, 97, of Groveport, Ohio, passed away at 2:46 a.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2022. Nita was born August 2, 1925, in Lancaster, Ohio, to the late Homer and Nellie (Hillyard) Poling. She was a longtime fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. Nita enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved sitting on the porch and watching nature around the pond. She is survived by her children, Gary (Debi) Snider, Tina (Pat) Garvey, Kim (Phil) Rhodes, Sally Daubenmire, and Susie (Rod) Dickson; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Snider; her son, James Richard Snider; grandson, Dustin Snider; four sisters and one brother, Margie, Jeannie, Bobbie, Betty, and Patty. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday with Pastor Kristin Santiago officiating.
