Minnie Lou (Miles) Moore

Minnie Lou Moore, 81, of Somerset, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. Minnie was born February 20, 1942, in McBeth, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Allen and Blanchie (Raines) Miles. She worked for over 30 years in daycare. Minnie loved children and flowers, but most of all she loved the Lord. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by four children, James (Darla) Moore, Edward (Joyce) Moore, Kenny Moore, and Doris (Whitney) Garven; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one sister, Della. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jimmie Lee Moore (2008); one son, Billy Moore; one grandson, Michael Moore; one great-grandchild; and 12 brothers and sisters. Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, November 5, 2023, at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset.
