Michael Thomas Pargeon, 49, of Somerset, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio. Mike was born February 25, 1975, in Lancaster, Ohio, to Melissa McClaskey and the late Ralph “Tom” Pargeon. Mike is survived by his daughter, Sydney; his mother, Melissa; his brother, Greg; a sister-in-law, Jennifer Pargeon; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his father Tom, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tony Pargeon; his maternal grandparents, Rita and Louis McClaskey; paternal grandparents, Ralph and Mary Pargeon; and his uncle, Louis “Bud” McClaskey. Remember Mike by his kindhearted fun-loving ways and his love for his family, especially his daughter Sydney. Addiction touches the lives of everyone around the person fighting this battle, but we have to remember it is not who they are. It is an unexplainable heartache, and he will be missed tremendously.
