Melissa R. Davisson

Melissa R. Davisson, 54, of Somerset, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at the Morrison House in Zanesville after a courageous battle with cancer. Missi was born August 18, 1968, in Zanesville, Ohio, the daughter of Caroline J. (Francis) Davisson Archer of Lancaster and the late Richard E. Davisson of Somerset. She was a 1986 graduate of Sheridan High School. In addition to her mother and stepfather, Caroline and Francis Archer, Missi is survived by two brothers, Ed (Jill) Davisson of Somerset and Rodney Davisson of Georgia; nephews, Tyler (Jessica), Trevor (Marisa), and Trey Davisson and great nieces and nephews of Somerset; many aunts and uncles including special aunt and uncle Cathy (Steve) Appleman of Somerset and Tom (Vicki) Davisson of Kentucky as well as many cousins. Also, a special friend Shane Aliff and K-9 best friend Serra Dawn. In addition to her father Dick, she is preceded in death by her sister, Deanna and niece Darian, both of Somerset.
