Matthew Lewis Corbin

Matthew Lewis Corbin, 65, of Mount Perry, passed away at 8:58 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at FairHope Hospice and Palliative Care. Matt was born December 1, 1957, in Zanesville, Ohio, the son of the late Benjamin Clayton and Donna Virginia (Kissick) Corbin. He was Methodist by faith and a lifelong resident of Mount Perry. He was a 1977 graduate of Sheridan High School. He is survived by his twin brother, Mark L. Corbin of Mount Perry; an honorary mother, Patricia Anderson of Mount Perry; one nephew, Christopher (Dawn) Corbin; three nieces, Rita Taylor, Amy Righter and Judy Ratliff; an honorary aunt, Jan Riley; an honorary grandmother, Margo Doorn; a special sister, Debbie Hubbard; and special friends, James and Olive Gower. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Clayton Corbin, and an infant brother, Blaine Corbin. There will be a caring cremation at Matt’s request. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Mt. Perry Presbyterian Church, 13099 Church St., Mt. Perry, Ohio.
