Mary Lee (Johnson) Wolfe

Mary Lee Wolfe, 72, of Somerset, passed away at 3:08 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025, at her residence. Mary was born July 18, 1952, in Somerset, Ohio, the daughter of the late George and Francis (Pargeon) Johnson. She was a graduate of Sheridan High School and retired from Lowe’s in Lancaster, Ohio. Mary proudly served her community by being a part of the Somerset-Reading Fire Department Auxiliary for 17 years and as an EMT with Somerset-Reading EMS for 8 years. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Dwight Douglas Wolfe, whom she married September 8, 1973 in Wesley Chapel Church; her daughters, Brenda (Wolfe) Hanus and her husband Michael, and Mary Beth (Wolfe) Scarberry and her husband Patrick; grandchildren, Jonathan Hanus, Matthew Hanus (Bri Hanus), Reganne Wolfe-Hanus (Asher Koreman), and Michael Scarberry; great-grandchildren, Laykeland Hanus; siblings, Barbara Hetrick, Jim Johnson, Linda Smart, Tom Johnson, Janet Kirkbride, Gloria Miller, Mark Johnson, Phil Johnson, Lois Reichley and Frank Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, David, Robert, and William Johnson. Mary will be cremated at her request. No calling hours or service will be observed.
