Mary R. Loughman, 67, of Somerset, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 2, 2025. Mary was born May 25, 1958, the beloved daughter of the late Michael and Catherine Dumolt. She married the love of her life, Rickey Lee Loughman, on August 24, 1974. Together they built a beautiful life and family filled with love and laughter. Mary was the proud mother of Richard (Keisha) Loughman and Michael (Sarah) Loughman; the cherished grandmother of Kaleb (Leanna) Love, Destiny, Tiarra, Tyler, Larilynn (Matthew) Bogle, Shayne, Ryan, Savannah, Lane, Lillianna, and Jace. Mary was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Braelynn, Grayson, Maisie, Levi, Londyn, Kashdyn, and Adalaide, all of whom brought immense joy to her heart. She is also survived by her loving siblings, John (Sharon) Dumolt, Stan (Ruthie) Dumolt, Dave (Lisa) Dumolt, Rita Cooperrider, and Kathy Dumolt, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry and Mickey Dumolt; and a sister, Phyllis Deahl. Mary worked for many years at Longaberger Basket and Duke and Duchess. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Mary’s greatest joy came from her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sharing her warmth, humor, and countless stories. Her hobbies included crocheting, sewing, cooking, and making beautiful Afghan blankets—each one crafted with love and care. Mary will be remembered for her loving spirit, her generous heart, and the way she made everyone feel like family. Her legacy of love and devotion will live on through all who were blessed to know her. Mary devoted her life to the Lord and stood firm in her faith. She found strength, comfort, and guidance in her relationship with God and lived each day with a heart full of love and grace. Her faith was unwavering, and she shared it through her kindness, her prayers, and the way she cared for others. Mary’s devotion to Christ was the foundation of her life and a light to all who knew her. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2025, in Somerset Cemetery, North High St., Somerset, Ohio.
