Mary Ellen (Puterbaugh) Lindamood

Mary Ellen (Puterbaugh) Lindamood, 90, of Zanesville, passed away at 1:18 a.m. Monday, June 21, 2021, at the Helen Purcell Retirement Center in Zanesville. Mary Ellen was born January 4, 1931 in New Lexington, Ohio, the daughter of the late Donald and Alice (Lucas) Puterbaugh. She worked for J.C. Penney for 11 years and TG&Y for several years. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Bare) and Jim Bright of Zanesville; a granddaughter, Heather (Chuck) Yontz of Zanesville; a grandson, Travis Kelly of Zanesville; a great-granddaughter, Ashley Yontz and a great-grandson, Wyatt Yontz, both of Zanesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Meredith E. Lindamood; two infant brothers; two sisters, Wanda Bright and Ruth Richerson; and a brother, William Puterbaugh. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2021 in Somerset Cemetery with Jeff Iden officiating.
