Mary Louise (Stalder) Barber, 88, of Glenford, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Pickering House Hospice. Mary was born January 2, 1935, in Baltimore, Ohio to the late Edward and Mary H. (Neel) Stalder. She loved taking care of her family and playing the piano at church. The most recent being Oakthorpe Church. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, John Barber; three children, Daniel Barber, Teresa (Dale) Poorman, and Mary Sue (Mark) Springer; six grandchildren, Courtney (Ben) Tiller, Kendra (Chris) Yates, Sara Maul, Brad (Amanda) Poorman, Kyle (Julie) Springer, and Caitlin (Jay) Kenney; 21 great-grandchildren; one brother, Neel (Carolyn) Stalder; a loving sister, Jane Starner; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Keith and David Stalder. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2023, at Oakthorpe Church and one hour prior to the service at the church. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at the church with Pastor Mel Truex officiating. Burial will follow in Oakthorpe Cemetery.
