Mark Richard White, 60, a former resident of New Lexington, passed away on April 3rd, 2022, in New Delhi, India, while on a business trip.
He was born on April 11, 1961, to Donald E. White and Nellie M. White (Browning) in Zanesville, Ohio.
For the past many years, Mark resided in Udon Thani, Thailand. He was a professional designer of holiday decor, and traveled around the world for his profession, meeting with factories and buyers, making many friends along the way. He was a Senior Designer for years with Creative Design, based in Hong Kong, and recently moved to lead design for Creative Home Ltd., based in McKinney, Texas. Mark was top of his field in product design and mentored many younger designers coming into his field. He was well respected by his customers, fellow designers, and factory owners that he worked with over the years. Mark was a very creative person, with a joyful personality, and a great sense of humor. He had great passion for his work, and lived a happy and successful life in Thailand. He had friends all around the US, and many more overseas. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He was a wonderful son, a brother, and a great friend.
He is survived by his parents, Donald and Nellie White, of Mt. Perry, Ohio, two brothers, Donald E. (Brenda) White, of Palm City Florida, and James Michael White, of Palm Bay, Florida; 3 nieces, Kristin (Andrew) White, Kelly (Matthew) Rightmire, and Natalie (Garry) Forth, all of Florida, his partner, Nithinan ''M'' Phaengsa, of Thailand, his two beloved dogs, Misha and Mollie, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Forest E. and Edith Marie (Garey) White, and Willard V. and Daisy (Koble) Browning.
A private graveside service will be held in New Lexington at a later date.
