Margaret C. "Peg" (Green) Henery

Margaret C. “Peg” Henery, 92, of Somerset, passed away at 6:05 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2021, at her residence. Peg was born July 19, 1928, in Somerset, Ohio, the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Edith (Miller) Green. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the Rosary Altar Society, and the Somerset American Legion Ladies Auxiliary #58. Peg is survived by her loving daughter, Beth Anne (Craig) Axline of Somerset; two sons, Pat (Beverly) Henery of Somerset and Tom Henery of Columbus; one sister, Mary Anne McGreevy of Somerset; grandchildren, Anthony Shipley, Colt (Ashley) Henery, Dawn (Jason) Conrad, Derek (Shelley) Axline, Drew (Emily) Axline; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Shipley, Emma, Grace and Simon Conrad, Brady, Bailey and Ben Axline, Kathleen, Margaret and Evelyn Henery, Mae, Henery, Nora, Rose and Anne Axline; and many nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, E. Donald Henery (1989); a son, Timothy Henery (2007); sisters, Eva Hillis and Julia Kinsel; and one brother, Robert Green. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, July 5, 2021, at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Stephen Carmody as celebrant.
