Lois Sue (Blevins) Williams, 78, of Somerset, Ohio, died at 2:35 p.m. on Sunday, January 31, 2021. Lois was born April 26, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of the late Foche and Hazel Blevins. She was a 1960 graduate of Watkins Memorial High School in Pataskala, Ohio, and a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Somerset. Lois was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother to her husband, three daughters and nine grandchildren. She loved to play tennis and work in the garden. She was an incredibly talented crafter. She sewed, knitted, crocheted, quilted and so much more, for many years. She was an avid cruiser and enjoyed traveling the world. Lois worked at Western Electric where she met her husband. After raising her children, she worked at JCPenney and was a Banquet Waitress. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Richard “Dick” Williams; her children, Amy (Mike) McGrew, Angela (Chris) Alley, Anne (Jeff) Dray; her grandchildren, Mason (Stephanie), Jessey, Jami, Madison, Julia, Noah, Molly, Elijah, and Ava; her siblings, Roger (Cheryl) Blevins of Glouster, Carolyn (Steve) Farnsworth of Canal Winchester and Betty (Chuck) Daley of Thornville. A private viewing will be held for her family and close friends at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Steve Carmody as Celebrant.
