Lois Ann "Tootsie" (Harlan) Eaton

Lois Ann “Tootsie” Eaton, 89, of Newark, formerly of Somerset, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Licking Memorial Hospital. Tootsie was born February 10, 1932 on their home farm near Somerset, the daughter of the late Danford W. and Zema M. Johnston Harlan. She was a graduate of Somerset High School. Tootsie was formerly employed by Lancaster Glass, Somerset American Legion, and was the chicken fryer at the Clay Haus Restaurant. She is survived by a grandson whom she resided with, Jeremiah J. and Robin Eaton of Newark; six great-grandchildren, Libby, Landon, Bailey, Logan, Nick, and Layton; and a son-in-law, Sean Benson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Kim Eaton (1991) and Darla Benson (2020); and a brother, William Harlan. Friends may call from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 21, 2021 at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Doug Oakes officiating.
