Kevin Joe Harris, 54, of Thornville, passed away suddenly at 7:26 p.m. Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Fairfield Medical Center. Kevin was born May 23, 1969, in Zanesville, Ohio, the son of Nita K. (Hazlett) Harris of Thornville and the late Burl W. Harris. He was a 1988 graduate of West Muskingum High School and had worked for various trucking companies and farms. Everyone who knew Kevin knew he was a happy-go-lucky person and could tell a good story or joke. He is survived in addition to his mother, by three children, Troy, Brittney, and Brooke, all of Akron; three grandchildren, Troy Jr., Brantley, and Kolten; two brothers, Jeff and David Harris. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Beth Sesser. At Kevin’s request, there was a caring cremation.
