Judy Carol Mahr, 66, of Somerset, suddenly passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Genesis Healthcare Perry County Emergency Room. Judy was born July 27, 1955, in Paintsville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Lulie Hensley. Judy loved her grandchildren, who were a huge piece of her life. She loved watching lifetime and criminal shows such as FBI, unsolved murders, ID channel and more. She loved going camping during the summer and going swimming and tanning. She also loved her dog, Little Man. Judy was loved so very much and will be missed by many. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, William R. “Bill” Mahr, Jr; two daughters, Tessa (Ronnie) Woodgeard of New Lexington and their three children, Jasper, Clarance, and Virginia; Desiree (Shane) Cain of Philo and their two children, Brian and Emiley; and several other children and grandchildren. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. There will be a caring cremation at Judy’s request.
