Juanita J. Steen, 85, of Somerset, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Genesis in Somerset, Ohio. Juanita was born on June 10, 1936, the daughter of the late Delbert Milton and Francis Ellen Seese. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting and would fix or create anything anyone wanted. Juanita was a 1954 graduate of Glenford High School. She worked for Ray-O-Vac Battery for several years and retired from Essex Wire in 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Lynda Smathers of Somerset; son, Richard L. Bennett Jr. of Wexford, PA; stepdaughter, Patricia Bailey of Lancaster; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Steen; one brother and four sisters. Per Juanita’s wishes, there was a caring cremation.
