Jeffrey A. Smith

On Sunday, August 9, 2020, Jeffrey A. Smith, loving father and grandfather passed away at the age of 63. Jeff was born on June 17, 1957 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Jim and Elaine (Kress) Smith. He was a graduate of Rosecrans High School and worked many years for CVS Pharmacy. But Jeff’s passions were sports and his children and grandchildren. Jeff, also known as “Smitty” had a friend everywhere he went. He never met a stranger and you could always count on a big smile and a strong handshake. Jeff was the type of man who told you “Good morning” and meant it. He was big and he was loud, always with a joke ready to tell. Jeff is survived by his three children, Adam, Brandon (Whitney) and Emily (Nathan Maxwell); six grandchildren, Brody, Cole, Natalee, Karter, Evelyn and Theodore; three brothers, Charles (Kim) Smith, Andy Smith and Jim (Tami) Smith; and three sisters, Becky (Mike) Lynch, Christy (Rob) McKinney and Pam Smith.
