Jeffrey Martin "Jeff" Bashore

Jeffrey Martin “Jeff” Bashore, 67, of Somerset, passed away at 9:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Altercare of Somerset. Jeff was born July 5, 1955, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, the son of the late Lyman E. and Charlotte (Silliman) Bashore. He was a 1973 graduate of Sheridan High School and attended The Ohio State University for one year. He was formerly employed by Ackers Cycle Sales (now known as ASK Cycle Sales) where he was a parts manager and motorcycle mechanic. He is survived by one sister, Mary Felty of Thornville; and one brother, Michael Bashore of Logan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy and Trudy Bashore. Friends may call from 3-5 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 23, 2023, at the Zion Reformed UCC Church, 8000 Highpoint Rd., Thornville, Ohio 43076 with the Rev. Melodie Rezac officiating.
