Jeanette I. McConaha, 84, of Somerset, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Fairfield Medical Center.
Jeanette was born February 26, 1942, in Redfield, Ohio, the daughter of the late James Frederick and Thelma (Honalu) Harris. She was a graduate of New Lexington High School and was a bus driver for Northern Local School District for over 33 years. Jeanette was a member of the Somerset American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She loved bowling, fishing, and being with her family.
She is survived by her children, David Gene (Drema) McConaha of Grove City; Barbara Ann (Christopher) Kemerer of White Cottage, Brenda Eltringham of Somerset and Kimberly Sue McLaughlin of Somerset; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Gene McConaha, one grandson, Calvin McLaughlin; one great-grandson, Karter Smith; two brothers and two sisters.
At Jeanette’s request, there will be a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026, in New Reading Cemetery with Pastor David Helser officiating.
