Janet F. (Curry) Orr

Janet F. Orr, 80, of Somerset, passed away Monday, October 2, 2023, at Fairfield Medical Center. Janet was born July 25, 1943, in Somerset, the daughter of the late Myron E. and Bertha Fay (Guisinger) Curry. She worked many years at J.C. Penny’s at Eastland Mall in Columbus until its closure in 2014. Janet is preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband Bob whom she married October 7, 1967; one sister and brother-in-law, J.T. and JoAnn VanSickle. Surviving are one brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Fran Orr and loving nieces, nephews and friends. Anyone who knew Janet knew she loved animals, especially her cats! Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 7, 2023, in Somerset Cemetery with Dwight Troyer officiating. Memorial Contributions may be made to a feline rescue of your choice.
