Harold Edgar Bieber, 88, of Somerset, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at his granddaughter’s residence. Harold was born September 24, 1934, in Sugar Grove, Ohio, the son of the late Harry W. Bieber and Lily M. Spires. He retired from Rockwell International and enjoyed Bluegrass music and spending time with loved ones. He also enjoyed working and spending time outdoors on his 82-acre farm. He and his late wife, Nancy, shared many years together on the farm. Harold is survived by his ten children, Larry L. Bieber of Lancaster, Rodger L. Bieber of Lancaster, Michael E. (Eileen) Bieber of Rushville, Brenda L. Kemper of E. Fultonham, Harold D. Bieber of Lancaster, Jeffrey A. (Ellen) Bieber of Thornville, Tina M. Wigal of the home, Pamela S. Lawson of Somerset, Scott E. (Angie) Bieber of Rushville, and Hank W. (Emma) Bieber of Somerset; 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and a brother, James Bieber of Kansas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Jean; infant daughter, Cheryl Ann; grandsons, David Joseph and Calvin Bieber; sisters, Marie Adams, Wauneta Barnes, Dorothy Reinschield, and Norma Jean Blair; and brother, Robert Bieber. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Monday, June 19, 2023, at the Somerset Methodist Church, 139 E. Main St., Somerset, Ohio where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Karen Walters officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio.
