Gerald Lee Mohler

Gerald Lee Mohler, 65, of Rushville, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025. Gerald was born on July 22, 1960, in Lancaster, Ohio, to Deanna Mohler of New Lexington and the late Pete Mohler. He worked and retired from The Shelly Company after 39 years. Gerald enjoyed being home, spending time at his pond, riding around the neighborhood in his buggy, and watching the grandkids. He was hard working and had the biggest heart. He never met a stranger and had so many friends-“Hey Bud!” In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 40 years, Tina Mohler; his children, Catie (Aaron) Fritsche and Julia (Drew) Carpenter; grandchildren, Zeke, Ava, Easton, and Eli; his siblings, Janice (Jeff) Martindale and Tina McCall; his mother-in-law, Wilma Pickrell, and two brothers-in-law, Johnny (Annie) Pickrell and Alan Briggs. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda. At Gerald’s request, there will be a caring cremation. Services will be held at a later date.
