Gary Joseph Stalling

Gary Joseph Stalling, 72, of Somerset, Ohio, died at 4:50 a.m. Monday, May 25, 2020 at his residence following a long battle with cancer. Gary was born July 1, 1947 in New Lexington, Ohio, the son of the late Joseph Wayne and Dorothy Mae Inman Stalling. He was an Army Vietnam veteran, and a foreman in the oil field industry. Gary is survived by his wife, Peggy Marie Murrow Stalling of the home; two sons, Wayne Stalling and Joseph Stalling; one daughter, Tammy Stalling; a stepson, Darren (Debbie) White; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ramona Stanley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. There will be a caring cremation at Gary’s request. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2020 in Rehoboth Cemetery with the Rev. John Edwards officiating and the Somerset American Legion Leo Ryan Post 58 will provide military honors. A celebration of his life will follow at Peggy's residence, 8472 St. Rt. 757 NW Somerset, Ohio 43783.
