Frank E. Westall, 98, of New Lexington, Ohio, was called home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at his home.
Frank was born near New Lexington on February 17, 1928, the only child of the late Fred and Esta (Folk) Westall.
He graduated in 1950 from Huntington College with his Bachelor’s Degree and later received his Master’s Degree in Education from The Ohio State University, teaching high school math for over 35 years. He spent his retirement years maintaining the family farm, which included raising sheep and enjoying time with his family. A member of Mt. Zion U.B. Church for most of his life, he will be remembered for teaching Sunday School, mowing the cemetery, delivering Our Daily Bread devotional books to the community, his strong faith, and for his unwavering character.
Frank is survived by his daughters, Lisa (Jim) Thomson of Portsmouth, Pam (Allen) Deaver of Mt. Perry, and Marci Wilson of New Lexington; his grandchildren, Devin (Janee) Deaver, Mason (Maria Camacho) Deaver, Jacob Wilson, and Natanya Wilson; and his great-grandchild, Dawson Bowman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby (Zarbaugh) Westall; his daughter, Lori Westall; and his grandson, Frankie Westall.
Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2026, at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset and one hour prior to the service at the church. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 13, 2026, at Mt. Zion U.B. Church, 2965 Toll Gate Rd., Junction City, Ohio, with Rev. Eric Self officiating.
Burial will follow in Mt. Zion U.B. Cemetery.
