F. Joanne (King) Hilliard

F. Joanne Hilliard 89 of Newark, Ohio former resident of Somerset, Ohio passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021 at the home of her son William surrounded by her family.  She was born on September 2, 1931 In Somerset, Ohio to the late Miles D. and Alice (Dittoe) King.

Joanne is survived by her sons, William T. Hilliard of Newark, Ohio and Roger (Janet) Hilliard of Thornville, Ohio; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brother, Gene (Nancy) King of Somerset, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Hilliard, son, Robert E. Hilliard, sisters, Mary Irene Stayton, Helen Hatfield, LaVerne Gall and Rose Cotterman, brothers, Donald, William, Jack, Fred, and Bob King.

Caring Cremation® has been entrusted to the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home, Somerset, Ohio.  A private inurnment will take place at New Lexington cemetery.
