Esther Miller, 86, of 10410 Amish Ridge Rd., Somerset, Ohio, died at 1:24 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at her home of Pancreatic cancer. Esther is survived by 11 children, Mintie Lynn (John) Troyer of Frankfort, OH, John Mark (Katie) Miller of Swanton, MD, Andrew James (Ida) Miller of Mt. Perry, OH, Timothy Edward (Erma) Miller of Frankfort, OH, Philip Roy (Mary Kaye) Miller of Auburn, NE, Titus Paul (Sharon) Miller of Afton, OK, Joshua Henry (Edna Mae) Miller of Amanda, OH, Regina Miller of Somerset, OH, Faith Talitha (Al Garber) of Stewartsville, MO, Thomas Allen (Carole) Miller of Leesburg, OH, Caleb Levi (Dorcas) Miller of Somerset, OH; 56 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; two brothers, Henry and Andy (Jr); and two sisters, Kathryn and Lydia. She was preceded in death by her husband John of 59 years; a daughter, Phylis; and two brothers, James and Edward. Esther was born July 10, 1938, in Middlefield, OH to the late Andy M. and Mintie (Bender) Miller. She resided in Perry County for the last 59 years of her life. She loved her Savior, family and many community friends and was an avid gardener. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones. Calling hours will be held from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025, at the Emmanuel Mennonite Fellowship Church, 7825 Chillicothe-Lancaster Rd. SW, Amanda, Ohio 43102. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Somerset Community Church, 139 E. Main St., Somerset, Ohio. Burial will be in Calvary Bible Fellowship Cemetery, Amish Ridge Rd., Mt. Perry, Ohio. Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset is entrusted with the arrangements.
