Earl Lee Shriner

Earl Lee Shriner, 83, of Junction City, passed away at his daughters’ residence at 7:23 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2022. Earl was born April 8, 1939, near Thornville, Ohio, the son of the late Kenneth R. and Wilma V. (Beyer) Shriner. He was a 1957 graduate of Junction City High School and a lifetime member of Friendship United Methodist Church where he was president of the Friendship Cemetery for many years. Earl was a lifetime farmer and retired in 2005 from McAuley Manufacturing. He was a member of the N.F.O. and Perry County and Ohio Cattleman’s Association. He loved Hereford cattle and Farmall tractors. Earl is survived by three children, Teri Lones of Somerset, Jill and Jeff Brame of Junction City and Josh and Mandy Shriner of Junction City; eleven grandchildren, Tyler and Katie Lones, Ethan and Molly Lones, Aaron and Katie Lones, Emily and Ryan Vance, Cory and Hiliary Brame, Dakota Brame, Makayla and Jourdan King, Zoey and Joey Suchland, Brock Shriner, and Kord Shriner; great grandchildren, Acer, Rowyn, Rhett, Clay, Bristol, and Vivian; one sister, Margaret Shriner; six brothers, Roger and Betty Shriner, Bill and Nancy Shriner, Fred and Peggy Shriner, Dale Shriner, Mark and Joyce Shriner and Konrad Shriner; and a special friend, Ardith Shriner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jayne Shriner (2006) and a brother, Lowell Shriner. Friends may call from 3:00-6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 6, 2022, at the Friendship United Methodist Church, 4260 St. Rt. 668 S., Junction City, Ohio where services will be held at 6:30 p.m. with Pastor Keller Moore officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
