Dorothy H. (Weethee) Whetherholt

Dorothy H. (Weethee) Whetherholt, 96, of Glenford, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. She was born April 1, 1924 in Huntington, West Virginia to the late Charles Delmas and Edith M. (Stephenson) Weethee. Dorothy retired from Western Electric in Columbus, Ohio. She was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church in Glenford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Rollie “Bill” Whetherholt; a son, Charles Edgar Whetherholt; two brothers and an infant sister. Surviving are her children, Duane E. (Barb) Whetherholt of Glenford, Linda (Carter) Sandlin of Newark, Ruby Whetherholt (Bobby Quayle) of Hebron, Gary Whetherholt of Glenford and Deborah, and Robert (Brenda) Whetherholt of Glenford; 3 brothers, 4 sisters; 18 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the Somerset United Methodist Church, 139 E. Main St., Somerset, Ohio where services will be held at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor John Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery in Glenford.
