Dorothy A. “Dodie” Snider, 91, of Somerset, Ohio, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Thornville Altercare surrounded by her family. Dodie was born on March 12, 1934, in Somerset, Ohio, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Grace (Green) Wilson. She was a graduate of Holy Trinity Catholic School and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She is survived by her brother, Robert Wilson; sisters, Betty (Wayne) Garey, Rosie (Michael) Garey, Debbie (Jim) Kimball; children, Craig (Jennifer) Snider, Daniel (Mindy) Snider, Scott (Jody) Snider, and Leann (Steve) Johnson; grandchildren, Heather, Emily, Ethan, Justin, McKenzie, Makyah, Madison, Spencer, Gabrielle, Olivia and Nathan; great-grandchildren, Jack, Weston, Grey, Oakley, Connor, Saylee, Morgen, and Payson with another on the way in July. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chris Snider and her sister, Helen Weiland. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2026, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Andre’ Joseph LaCasse, O.P. as celebrant.
