Dennis E. Miller, 75, of Thornville, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Fairfield Medical Center. Dennis was born May 1, 1946, the son of the late Hurcel K. and Louella Grace Miller of Thornville. Dennis spent over 45 years in the feed business working with and making numerous friendships. He was passionate about 4-H, helping and supporting any 4-H kid who asked all around the community. He was also involved in the Rushville Masonic Lodge #211 where he had served as Past Master and was an active member. Finally, he was a veteran and served in the Vietnam War. We thank you for your service. Dennis will be truly missed by many who he touched all over the places he traveled. He will be forever remembered in our hearts. Dennis was a loving father to his two sons, Jeffery A. and Anthony W. Miller; three grandchildren, Justice, Joella, Peyton, and one grandson who preceded him in death Jarritt Miller. In addition to his parents and grandson, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Dwight Miller. Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Oakthorpe Church, 6090 Oakthorpe Rd. NE, Thornville, Ohio where Masonic services will be held at 4:45 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the church and friends may also call one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Oakthorpe Cemetery.
