Dennis Michael “Mike” Eltringham, 76, of Somerset, Ohio, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Mike was born September 9, 1948, in Coshocton, Ohio, to Marilyn (Schlosser) and Cecil Eltringham. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Brenda L. (McConaha) Eltringham, whom he married in 2006; his brothers and sister, Mark (Keena) Eltringham of Somerset, Melody Eltringham of Ashland, Max (Annette) Eltringham of Somerset, Matthew (Brenda) Eltringham of Somerset; his four children, Michael (Susie) Eltringham, Amy (Mike) Davisson, Michelle (Cody) Roush, Ashley (Jessie) Flowers; his grandkids, Julia (CJ) Davis, Trey Davisson, Bailey (Nick) Hawk, Joshua Lewis, Justin Lewis, Jordan Lewis, Jaden Lewis, Ellie Koehler and Drew Koehler; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews that he was very close with. He also had three stepchildren, Kevin (Courtney) McConaha, Crystal (Shane) Kays and Jay Smith, and he also served as a step-pappy to their children, Karsyn McConaha, Cade McConaha, Marlee McConaha, Nevaeh Kays, Noah Wilson, Naomi Wilson, and Aydan Kays; and two step-grandchildren, Kaitlin Flowers and Jake Flowers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Melissa Eltringham and a step grandson, Karter Smith. During his years, Mike has worn many hats. From his days of hunting to the many nights spent at a racetrack chasing that checkered flag, he lived a full life. His friends meant the world to him. Anyone who knew Mike knew he would give you the shirt off his back if it meant helping someone else. He could fix anything and was a master at welding. He spent many hours driving truck. And while our hearts are broken, he is at peace again, free from any medical issues. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 9996 Bruno Rd., Thornville, Ohio 43076.
