DeLee Mae Folk, 94, of Junction City, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at her residence.
DeLee was born May 15, 1929, in Perry County, to the late Stanley F. and Creda M. (Black) Bibler. She was a member of Avalon United Brethren Church for many years and later attended Mt. Zion United Brethren Church. She enjoyed singing in the choir and church activities.
DeLee worked as a secretary and salesperson for Hordis Brothers and C.E. Glass in Lancaster. She later worked as a hearing aid specialist for House of Hearing in Lancaster then retired from American Ear Hearing in Newark.
In the past, DeLee was a member of the Junction City Garden Club, and devoted numerous hours to gardening and the flower beds around her home.
DeLee is survived by sons and daughter, Dick (Teresa) Folk, Derrie (Roger) Davis, Daryl (Lisa) Folk, and Daryn Folk; nine grandchildren, Tera Binkley, Dana Solomon, Tami Clune, Brooke Finck, Ross Davis, Brandon Folk, Keeley Reese, Rylee Folk, and Lauren Folk; 13 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Debbie Bibler.
She was preceded in death in addition to her parents, by her husband of 70 years, David Lee Folk until his passing in 2021; brothers, Max, Ralph (Patricia), Stanley Jr. (Joann), Lewis “Bud” Bibler; and sister, Jean Schromme (William).
A private service will be held with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Junction City, Ohio with Pastor Richard Newlon officiating. The family requests no flowers.
