Coza Josephine (Lewis) Miller

Coza Josephine Miller, 83, of Somerset, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born September 22, 1937 in Carter City, Kentucky to Mary Karr and Orval Lewis. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Somerset Homemakers. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was a great cook and devoted crafter with her friends. She is survived by her husband, Joseph C. Miller; children, Charles Miller of Lancaster, Barbara (Paul) Shaner, Michael (Gloria) Miller, and Tina (Richard) Grove, all of Somerset; grandchildren, Clayton (Courtney) Shaner, Angela Johnson, Joseph Robert Miller; great grandchildren, Jordanna and Naythen Johnson, Olivia and Reed Shaner and numerous friends. Coza is preceded in death in addition to her parents, by six brothers, Dorsie, Orval Jr., Steven, William, Elwood and Richard; six sisters, Lorene Kennard, Hazel Anderson, Olive Queen, Blanch Szudy, Mary Adams Holt and Anne Haney; and a beloved granddaughter, Ashlee Miller. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 28, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Stephen Carmody as celebrant. Friends may call from 9:30-10:45 a.m. at the church on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Perry County Cancer Alliance, P.O.
