Colt Edward Rose, 23, of Zanesville, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Willow Haven Healthcare. Colt was born February 20, 2001, to Elmer “Hot Rod” Rose and Dawn Thomas Rose of Crooksville. He will be sadly missed by his mom, Dawn (Richard Miller) Rose; his sisters, Arielle Maffin and Hailey (JD Moyer) Rose; step-siblings, Aubree Hutchins, Mason and Harley Miller; nieces and nephews, Owen, Bella, Layla, Jaselynn, Leo, and Hayden; grandparents, Wayne and Randa Groves; aunts and uncles, Chad (Dani Sawyers) Groves, Amanda Groves, Natasha (George) Bradley, and Amber (Curtis) Pargeon; many cousins who will always remember him; and his best friend, McKinze Pyle. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer, “Hot Rod” Rose. No services will be held and there will be a caring cremation. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset is entrusted with the arrangements.
