Cheryl Anne (Ramey) Householder

If you ever had the privilege to meet Cheryl Anne (Ramey) Householder, you already know she had a welcoming smile and a kind heart. She never met a stranger and loved to talk. Her fun sense of humor would light up the room on her arrival. Cheryl, 64 years old from Junction City, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Central Ohio Hospice at OSU Medical Center with her family by her side following an extended illness. The world became a little less bright that day. Cheryl was born on August 6, 1961, in Zanesville, Ohio, the eldest of four daughters, born to John and the late Mary Anne Ramey. Cheryl graduated from New Lexington High School in 1979. She married the love of her life, Randy Lee Householder, on September 13, 1980. They went on to have two daughters, Lisa Dawn Householder and Danielle Rose (Greg) Schafer. She lived a life full of love and laughter. Her friends and family were her world and meant everything to her. She had the pleasure of being “Mamaw” to eight grandchildren, Gage, Gavin, Khloe, Corey, Jasmine, Brody, Atticus, and Declan. At the time of her passing she also had three great-grandchildren, Aiden, Bristyn, and Maelynn, with two more on the way. In her free time, she enjoyed going on adventures to Florida, Tennessee, and North Carolina, watching the Hallmark Channel, going out to eat with friends, shopping, and of course, sitting down with a good ole Dr. Pepper. Though her passing leaves us all with an unfillable space, we know she was welcomed with open arms to all her family and friends who had gone before her. She is survived by her father, husband, daughters, and sisters, Lori (Mike) Donaldson and Vickie (Joe) Wilson, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, sister, Lisa Carol Ramey, maternal grandmother, Grace Norris, maternal grandfather, Eddie Hall, paternal grandmother, Rose Givens, and paternal grandfather, Harlan Ramey. A special thank you to the staff of OSU Medical Center and Ohio Hospice of Central Ohio, for their care and compassion for our beloved wife and mother during her illness. Friends may call from 4:00-5:45 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset where the family will have a eulogy at 5:45 p.m. There will be a luncheon reception at the Junction City Community Building following the eulogy
