Catherine Lucille (Crossan) Snider

Catherine Lucille Snider, 102, of Somerset, passed away at 10:35 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Fairfield Medical Center. Lucille was born April 14, 1922, near Somerset, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harry O. and Vera I. (Ford) Crossan. She was a former member of the Somerset United Methodist Church. Lucille rode her horse to the one room schoolhouse in Clayton Township, and then later graduated in 1940 from Somerset High School. Lucille was a retired price clerk from the Roekel Company in Zanesville. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Mike) Waugh of Somerset; one granddaughter; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; one great-grandson; and one great-great-grandson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John T. Crossan. Friends may call from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Karen Walters officiating.
