Carol Ann (Coutellier) Knight-Hardwick

Carol Ann (Coutellier) Knight-Hardwick 79 of Somerset, Ohio passed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, July24, 2022 at her residence.

She was born at St. Ann’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio on Decemeber 31, 1942 to the late Charles L. and Frances (Wilkes) Coutellier. 

Carol was a past member of the Perry County Extension Club, The Perry County Historical Society, Perry County Share Program, Perry County Genealogical Society, former owner of Kit-Cat Ceramic Studio for 20 years both in Bremen and Somerset, Ohio.  She also was involved with the Patchwork Sisters Quilt Club and The Bremen Quilt Friends.

She was married first to Robert E. Knight, Sr. on August 20, 1960 in Pleasantville, Ohio then married for the second time William S. Hardwick, Sr. on August 16, 2016 in Perry County, Ohio.

Carol is survived by her husband, William S. Hardwick, Sr.; children, Robert E. (Cheryl) Knight, Jr. and Bradley Stewart (Jodie) Knight; grandchildren, Anthony, Robert O., Curt W. and William Knight, Sara Horn, Ryan and Austin Knight, Jenessa Fidler, and Heath Knight; great children; best BFF Bitsy; step children, William, Jr. , Kimberly, Michael, and Mindi; brother Charles (Pat) Coutellier; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a best friend for over 73 years, Julia Geary.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Knight, Sr., sisters Teresa S. Bowers, Joan M. Hess and her parents.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 12 p.m. at Bope-Thomas Funeral Home, Somerset, Ohio with Rev.
